Toggle on to enable Legacy Mode.
Toggle off to disable Legacy Mode.
When Legacy Mode is enabled, the interface may switch to older functionality or show legacy behaviour.
Check the interface
After changing the toggle, check the page you are using.
If the change does not appear immediately, refresh the page and check again.
Legacy Mode may affect older workflows, visual behaviour, or functionality that is not available in the current experience.
Important Notes
Legacy Mode is now controlled from UI Overrides, not from the account menu.
This setting should only be changed by authorised users.
The UI Overrides panel may include other developer tools, such as Dark mode, Sidebar collapsed, lock screen testing, modals, and quick links.
Avoid changing other UI Overrides settings unless you know what they are used for.
Some changes may require refreshing the page before they appear.
Troubleshooting
If you cannot see the developer toolbar:
Confirm your role has access to developer tools.
Check whether you are in the correct environment.
Ask an administrator to confirm whether the toolbar should be available.
If the UI Overrides panel does not open:
Refresh the page and try again.
Click the UI icon in the developer toolbar.
Check whether the toolbar is collapsed under the dropdown arrow.
If Legacy Mode does not turn on or off:
Refresh the page after changing the toggle.
Confirm the Legacy mode toggle changed state.
Check whether another UI Overrides setting is affecting the page.
Ask an administrator or developer to confirm the expected behaviour.
If the interface looks incorrect after enabling Legacy Mode:
Turn Legacy mode off.
Refresh the page.
Check whether any other UI Overrides settings are still enabled.
Contact support or an administrator if the issue continues.
