Before You Start

You need access to Finance & Admin and the Invoicing area.

The information shown on this page depends on your organisation’s invoicing activity. If no claims, plans, or interactions have been created yet, some sections may show empty states.

Open Invoicing

From the left sidebar, go to Finance & Admin.

Select Invoicing.

This opens the Overview page.

Review the Overview page

The Overview page gives you a high-level summary of your billing, invoicing, and payment processes.

At the top of the page, you will see the main Invoicing tabs:

  • Overview

  • Clients

  • Plans

  • Interactions

  • Calendar

  • Shift Billables

  • Billing

  • Staff KPIs

Use these tabs to move between different invoicing areas.

Check the At a glance cards

The At a glance section shows key invoicing metrics.

These include:

  • This Month

  • Outstanding

  • Pending Claims

  • Active Interactions

  • Total Clients

  • Success Rate

These cards help you quickly understand current invoicing activity and payment progress.

Review pipeline performance

The Pipeline performance card shows claim movement across the invoicing lifecycle.

If no claims have been submitted yet, the card will show an empty message. Once claims move through the pipeline, lifecycle rates will appear here.

Use this section to understand how claims are progressing from creation through to payment.

Read the Headline insight

The Headline insight card summarises the most important invoicing metric in plain English.

This section is useful for a quick status update without needing to review every chart or table.

Review revenue and claim status

The Revenue trend card shows paid claim revenue over time.

The Claim status breakdown card shows claim totals by status, including:

  • Pending

  • Submitted

  • Partially Paid

  • Approved

  • Paid

Use these sections to monitor revenue movement and see where claims are sitting in the process.

Check top participants and recent claims

The Top participants card shows participants with the highest billed activity.

The Recent claims card shows the latest claims and their status.

If there is no activity yet, these cards will show empty states.

Use these sections to quickly identify active participants and recent billing work.

Use Quick actions

The Quick actions section lets you jump straight into common invoicing tasks.

Available actions include:

  • New interaction

  • New plan

  • New claim

  • New client

  • Key binds

Select the action you need to start the related workflow.

Review recent activity

The Recent activity section shows the latest invoicing events across your team.

This may include updates related to participants, services, claims, and billing activity.

If there is no recent activity, an empty state will appear.

Important Notes

  • The Overview page is designed as a dashboard. It helps you monitor invoicing performance, but detailed work is usually completed through the other tabs.

  • If the page looks empty, it may mean no claims, interactions, plans, or participant billing records have been created yet.

  • The figures shown on the page update based on live invoicing activity.

Troubleshooting

If you cannot see Invoicing, check that you have the correct access permissions.

If metrics show 0, confirm that claims, plans, interactions, or billing records have been added.

If recent claims are missing, check whether claims have been created under the correct participant or billing workflow.

If the data looks outdated, refresh the page and check again.
