The system lists all the shift pay rates for each employment type:
Casual (Casual)
Part Time (PT)
Full Time (FT)
Depending on the employment type/s your company uses, you can assign the Xero pay items to the corresponding shift pay rates:
To be able to assign Xero pay items, you must be authenticated with your Xero account.
Each Xero account can have its own shift pay rates assigned. You will know if you're authenticated if the finance status in the top left shows a GREEN badge.
If you are not authenticated, the finance status will show a RED badge:
If shift pay rates are not correctly assigned to the employment types and Xero pay items employees will have incorrect timesheets created within Xero when syncing timesheets.
NOTE:
Training rate must be assigned for EACH Xero account's shift pay rates.
Each employee will need to have an employee ordinary earnings rate (SCHADS pay level) set within their Xero profile (this cannot be done within DS).
