More than one Xero organisation can be connected. Each connected organisation can be viewed and disconnected individually, allowing you to manage the correct Xero connection without affecting other organisations unnecessarily.
1. Open the Xero Integration
Open Admin.
Select Integrations.
Open Xero.
Review the current Xero connection status.
Depending on the current setup, the Xero integration may show options such as:
Connect
Add Organisation
View Connected Orgs
Revoke Authentication
Where organisations are already connected, the page may also show the number of linked organisations.
2. Connect a Xero Organisation
If no Xero organisation is connected:
From the Xero integration page, select Connect.
Sign in to Xero when prompted.
Review the Xero authorisation screen.
Select the organisation you want to connect.
Select Allow access.
Wait for Diversity Sync’d to return to the integration page.
Confirm that the organisation now appears as connected.
Only connect an organisation you are authorised to manage.
3. Connect Another Xero Organisation
If a Xero organisation is already connected, another organisation can also be added.
Go to Admin > Integrations > Xero.
Select Add Organisation.
Sign in to Xero if prompted.
Select the additional Xero organisation.
Select Allow access.
Return to Diversity Sync’d.
Confirm that the additional organisation has been connected.
4. View Connected Xero Organisations
To review the organisations currently connected:
Go to Admin > Integrations > Xero.
Select View Connected Orgs.
Review the list of connected Xero organisations.
Confirm that each organisation shown is expected and still required.
Each organisation is managed separately from this list.
5. Review an Organisation Before Using It
Before using a connected Xero organisation for invoicing, confirm that:
The organisation is still connected.
The organisation name is correct.
The required Xero accounts are available.
The required Xero customers or contacts exist.
The required invoicing configuration has been completed.
When a claim is sent through Xero, the selected organisation and its configured Chart Of Accounts are used throughout the sending process.
Important: Always confirm the Xero organisation when processing financial information, particularly when more than one organisation is connected.
6. Review Xero Invoicing Settings for an Organisation
Each connected Xero account can have its own invoicing settings.
To review them:
Open Admin.
Select Configuration.
Open Invoicing.
Open General Settings.
Find Xero Integration.
Review the Xero Account shown.
Review the configuration for that account.
Select Save after making authorised changes.
Settings may include:
Automatic syncing
Chart Of Accounts
Payment Account
Client Tracking Category
House Tracking Category
The available account and customer information should relate to the selected Xero organisation.
7. Disconnect One Xero Organisation
A connected Xero organisation can be disconnected individually.
Go to Admin > Integrations > Xero.
Select View Connected Orgs.
Find the organisation you want to remove.
Select Disconnect for that organisation.
Review the confirmation message.
Confirm the disconnection only when you are sure the organisation should no longer be available.
Disconnecting an individual organisation removes that Xero connection without requiring you to remove the other connected organisations.
Important: Before disconnecting an organisation, confirm that active claims, invoices, payments or other finance workflows do not still depend on it.
8. Review a Disconnected Organisation
If a claim is linked to a Xero organisation that is no longer available, Diversity Sync’d may show the affected organisation by name.
Connection messages may explain that:
The organisation has been disconnected.
The connection requires attention.
Reconnection or reauthorisation may be required.
The Xero organisation is no longer available for the current action.
This helps identify which Xero organisation is causing the issue when multiple organisations are connected.
9. Reconnect or Reauthorise Xero
If Xero requires reconnection:
Read the Xero connection warning.
Confirm which organisation is affected.
Follow the available Connect or Reconnect option.
Sign in to Xero when prompted.
Select the correct organisation.
Complete the Xero authorisation.
Return to Diversity Sync’d.
Confirm that the connection is available again.
Users who have permission to manage integrations may see a direct link to Integrations from Xero connection warnings.
If you do not have permission to manage integrations, contact an administrator.
10. Select the Correct Organisation When Sending a Claim
When more than one Xero organisation is connected, confirm the organisation during claim sending.
Open the required claim.
Open the additional actions menu.
Select Send claim.
Select Xero.
Select Continue.
Review the Xero Account.
Select the required organisation where more than one is available.
Confirm the Chart Of Accounts.
Confirm the Customer.
Complete the send when all required information is correct.
The selected Xero organisation determines which organisation-specific account and customer information is used during claim sending.
