View Cora Chat Conversation Details

Learn how to view Cora Chat conversation details, including channel information, members, and available conversation settings.

Go to Cora Chat

From the left navigation menu, click Cora Chat.

This opens your Cora Chat inbox.

Open the Conversation

Select the conversation or group channel you want to review.

The conversation will open in the main chat area.

Check the conversation header to confirm you are viewing the correct chat.

Open the Conversation Menu

Click the three-dot menu in the top right corner of the conversation.

A menu will open with available actions.

Options may include:

  • Flag conversation

  • Add members

  • View details

  • Rename conversation

  • Leave channel

Click View Details

Click View details.

This opens the conversation details area, where you can review more information about the selected chat.

The details may include:

  • Conversation or channel name

  • Conversation type

  • Members in the chat

  • Member count

  • Channel information

  • Available conversation settings

Review the Conversation Information

Use the details view to confirm who is included in the conversation and check the channel information.

This is helpful when you need to:

  • Confirm the correct staff are in the channel

  • Check whether the conversation is a group channel

  • Review channel membership before sending sensitive information

  • Confirm the channel details before renaming or leaving

Important Notes

  • View details does not change the conversation.

  • It is used to review information only.

  • The information shown may depend on the conversation type and your permissions.

  • Some details may only be available for group channels.

  • If a conversation contains sensitive information, review the member list before sending messages.

Troubleshooting

If you cannot see View details:

  • Confirm that you have opened a conversation.

  • Check that you are a member of the conversation.

  • Refresh the page and try again.

  • Ask an administrator to review your Cora Chat permissions.

If the details look incorrect:

  • Refresh Cora Chat.

  • Check whether members were recently added or removed.

  • Confirm that you opened the correct conversation.
