Before You Start

You need access to Child Safety and Reconciliation.

The Review queue is used to confirm reasons, child safety status, and impact for detected overages.

Items only appear here when the reconciliation engine detects extra hours over expected.

Open the Review Queue

From the left sidebar, open Child Safety.

Select Reconciliation.

At the top of the page, select Review queue.

This opens the review list for detected overages.

Review the page

The Review queue page includes:

  • A search field

  • A Filters button

  • Filter options for status, house, region, and funding source

  • A review list or empty state

If there are no overages to review, the page will show No overages to review.

Search for overages

Use the search field to filter overages by:

  • House

  • Region

  • Period

This helps you quickly find a specific overage once review items are available.

Open filters

Select Filters to open the filter options.

The filter panel lets you narrow the review queue before reviewing detected overages.

Filter by status

Use the Status dropdown to filter review items.

Available options include:

  • All statuses

  • Pending

  • Reviewed

  • Unresolved

Use Pending to focus on overages that still need review.

Use Reviewed to find items that have already been checked.

Use Unresolved to find items that still need attention.

Filter by house

Use the House dropdown to filter the queue by a specific house.

Available options may include:

  • All houses

  • Oxford Street Site

  • Bright Futures Care Home

Select a specific house when you only want to review overages for that location.

Filter by region

Use the Region dropdown to filter overages by region.

Select All regions if you want to include every region.

This is helpful when managers review overages by operational area.

Filter by funding source

Use the Funding Source dropdown to filter by how the overage is funded.

Available options include:

  • Any source

  • Same house

  • Same region

  • Contingency

Use this filter when you need to review where the extra hours or costs are being funded from.

Clear filters

Select Clear filters to remove active filters.

This returns the review queue to a broader view.

If a filter badge appears beside the Filters button, it means one or more filters are currently active.

Review detected overages

When overages appear in the queue, review each item according to your organization’s process.

The queue is designed to help confirm:

  • The reason for the overage

  • The child safety status

  • The impact of the overage

  • Whether the item has been reviewed or still needs action

Important Notes

  • The Review queue only shows detected overages.

  • If no overages are detected, the page will show No overages to review.

  • The selected filters control which review items appear.

  • Use Pending status to focus on items that still need review.

  • Use Clear filters if expected items are missing from the list.

Troubleshooting

  • If no items appear, check whether any overages have been detected for the selected period.

  • If expected items are missing, clear the filters and search again.

  • If the queue only shows one house, check the House filter.

  • If the queue only shows one funding source, check the Funding Source filter.

  • If items are still not appearing, confirm that reconciliation has run and that the selected houses have rostered shifts and expected hours configured.

  • If you cannot access the page, check your permissions for Child Safety and Reconciliation.
