Staff Overview

Learn how to view, search, filter, invite, and open staff records in Diversity Sync'd.

Open Staff

From the left navigation menu, go to People & Places.

Click Staff.

The Staff page will open.

Review the Staff List

The staff list displays staff records in a table.

The table may include:

  • Name

  • Line Manager

  • Employment

  • Branch

  • Status

Each staff row shows the staff member’s name, role or position if available, and their current status.

The status may show whether the staff member is Active.

Switch Between Active and Archived Staff

Use the tabs at the top of the Staff page to switch between staff groups.

Available tabs include:

  • Active

  • Archived

Use Active to view staff members currently available in the system.

Use Archived to view staff members who are no longer active but still have historical records saved.

Search for Staff

Use the Filter staff search field to find a staff member.

You can search by visible staff details, such as the staff member’s name.

This is useful when your organization has many staff records.

Apply Filters

Click Filters to narrow the staff list.

Filters help you find specific staff records faster.

After applying filters, review the updated staff table.

Open a Staff Profile

Click a staff row to open the staff member’s profile.

The staff profile may include sections such as:

  • Avatar

  • Profile

  • Personal Information

  • Employment Information

  • Support & Training

  • Archive

Use the staff profile to review or update information connected to that staff member.

Invite a New Staff Member

Click Invite User to invite a new staff member.

This opens the Invite a user window, where you can enter the staff member’s name, email address, phone number, and role.

Important Notes

  • The Staff page only shows records you have permission to view.

  • Staff members are invited using Invite User.

  • A staff member can sign in after they receive and accept their email invitation.

  • Active staff members are available in relevant workflows.

  • Archived staff members are removed from active use, but their historical records remain saved.

  • Staff records may connect to rostering, shift notes, timesheets, invoicing, reports, and access control.

Troubleshooting

If you cannot see the Staff page:

  • Check that you have access to People & Places > Staff.

  • Ask an administrator to review your role permissions.

If a staff member does not appear in the list:

  • Check both the Active and Archived tabs.

  • Use the Filter staff search field.

  • Clear any filters that may be hiding the record.

  • Confirm the staff member has not been archived.

If you cannot open a staff profile:

  • Refresh the page and try again.

  • Confirm you have permission to view staff details.

  • Ask an administrator to check your access.

If you cannot invite a staff member:

  • Confirm you have permission to invite users.

  • Check whether the Invite User button is visible.

  • Ask an administrator to review your account access.
