Flag a Cora Chat Conversation

Learn how to flag a Cora Chat conversation so important chats can be marked for follow-up and found later in the Flagged tab.

Written by Windolyn Cortes

Go to Cora Chat

From the left navigation menu, click Cora Chat.

This opens your Cora Chat inbox.

Open the Conversation

Select the conversation you want to flag from the conversation list.

The conversation will open in the main chat area.

You can flag direct messages or group channels, depending on your access.

Open the Conversation Menu

Click the three-dot menu in the top right corner of the conversation.

A menu will open with available conversation actions.

Options may include:

  • Flag conversation

  • Add members

  • View details

  • Rename conversation

  • Leave channel

Click Flag Conversation

Click Flag conversation.

This marks the conversation as flagged so it can be found more easily later.

Flagging is useful when a conversation needs follow-up, contains important information, or should be reviewed again.

Find Flagged Conversations

To view flagged conversations, go to the conversation tabs in Cora Chat and click Flagged.

This shows conversations you have marked for follow-up.

Use this tab when you want to quickly return to important chats.

Important Notes

  • Flagging helps you organise important conversations.

  • Flagged conversations can be found from the Flagged tab.

  • Flagging a conversation does not delete, hide, or leave the conversation.

  • The available menu options may depend on your permissions and the type of conversation.

  • You can continue sending and receiving messages in a flagged conversation.

Troubleshooting

If you cannot see Flag conversation:

  • Confirm that you have opened a conversation.

  • Check that you are a member of the conversation.

  • Refresh the page and try again.

  • Ask an administrator to review your Cora Chat permissions.

If you cannot find a flagged conversation:

  • Go to Cora Chat.

  • Click the Flagged tab.

  • Use the Search conversations field.

  • Check that the conversation has not been removed or left.
