At the top of the Admin page, click Configuration.

This opens the RCS configuration page.

Confirm Schedule 2 Attestation

The Schedule 2 attestation section confirms whether your organisation is a Schedule 2 reporting entity.

The Reportable Conduct Scheme applies only to entities listed in Schedule 2 of the Child Safe Organisations Act 2024.

Turn on We are a Schedule 2 reporting entity if your organisation falls within Schedule 2 and needs to enable the RCS module.

Set Statutory Deadlines

The Statutory deadlines section controls default reporting timeframes.

The default settings shown are:

  • Initial Report: 3 business days

  • Interim Report: 30 business days

These defaults match the Act.

Only adjust these deadlines where the Commission has agreed in writing to a different timeframe.

Deadlines are calculated in Australia/Sydney time.

Click Save after making changes.

Add Head of Reporting Entity Details

The Head of reporting entity section records the head of entity details and delegate details.

These details may pre-populate notification forms and support the alternative reporting pathway when an allegation involves the head of the entity.

Complete the available fields:

  • Head Of Entity Name

  • Role / Title

  • Email

  • Delegate Name

  • Delegate Role

  • Alternative Pathway Contact

Click Save after entering or updating the details.

Add the Commission Contact

The Commission contact section stores the default recipient email used when sending statutory reports to the Queensland Family and Child Commission.

Enter the Commission Contact Email.

Click Save after updating the email address.
