Manage Allowance Warnings

Learn how to show or hide warnings for First Aid and sleepover allowance changes when editing or moving shifts.

Open Roster Configuration

Go to Admin > Configuration.

In the Configuration sidebar, click Roster.

Find Allowance Warnings

Scroll to the Allowance Warnings section.

This section may include:

  • Show First Aid allowance warnings

  • Show sleepover allowance warnings

Turn Warnings On or Off

Use the toggles to control which warnings appear.

Turn Show First Aid allowance warnings on if users should be warned when a roster change may affect a First Aid allowance.

Turn Show sleepover allowance warnings on if users should be warned when a roster change may affect a sleepover allowance.

Turn a toggle off if you do not want that warning to appear.

Save Changes

Click Save in the Allowance Warnings section.

Important Notes

  • These warnings help users identify roster changes that may affect allowances.

  • Turning warnings off does not remove the underlying allowance rules.

  • Turning warnings off only hides the warning message.

  • These settings apply when editing or moving shifts.

Troubleshooting

If warnings are not appearing:

  • Check that the relevant warning toggle is turned on.

  • Confirm the shift change affects the allowance condition.

  • Save changes and refresh the roster.

If warnings are appearing when not needed:

  • Review the allowance warning toggles.

  • Turn off the warning you do not want to display.

  • Save changes.
