Before You Start
You need access to the Admin area before you can update the company ABN or ACN.
You may also need permission to update organisation configuration settings.
Required permissions:
View the Configuration tab in the Admin panel
Make changes to the organisation configuration settings
If you cannot see the Configuration tab or the Save button, ask an administrator to check your role permissions.
Go to Admin
From the left navigation menu, click Admin.
This opens the Admin area where you can manage users, roles, logs, integrations, billing, configuration, and notifications.
Open the Configuration Tab
At the top of the Admin page, click Configuration.
This opens the workspace configuration settings.
Select Organisation
From the Configuration side menu, click Organisation.
This opens the Organisation settings page.
This page includes organisation-level details such as:
Organisation Name
ABN/ACN
Find the ABN/ACN Section
Scroll to the ABN/ACN section.
This section is used to add or update your Australian Business Number or Australian Company Number.
Enter the ABN or ACN
In the ABN/ACN field, enter the correct number for your organisation.
Example:
85693465539
Check the number carefully before saving.
Save the Changes
Click Save on the ABN/ACN card.
Once saved, the updated ABN or ACN will be stored in your organisation's settings and used where billing or invoice information is required.
Important Notes
The ABN/ACN should match your organisation’s official business details.
Updating the ABN/ACN does not automatically update the Organisation Name.
If the organisation name also needs to be updated, update it separately in the Organisation Name section.
The Save button may stay disabled if no changes have been made.
Always review the number before saving.
Some users may not be able to update this setting without the correct Admin permissions.
Troubleshooting
If you cannot update the ABN or ACN:
Refresh the browser.
Check your internet connection.
Make sure you are in Admin > Configuration > Organisation.
Make sure the ABN/ACN field is not blank.
Check that the number has been entered correctly.
Check that your role has permission to update configuration settings.
Try saving again.
Contact an administrator if the issue continues.
