Dashboard

This article will help staff understand the Diversity Sync'd dashboard.

Updated over a week ago

The Dashboard is home to viewing shifts, accessing participant profiles and shift notes, as well as clocking on/off and requesting allowances and contingency hours during sleepover shifts.

Viewing Shifts

The dashboard allows you to easily view both upcoming and completed shifts:

  • Upcoming Shifts: Click on the Upcoming Shifts tab, located just below the Shift Coverage title to the left side of the dashboard.

  • Completed Shifts: To the right of the Upcoming Shifts tab, select Completed Shifts to view previously finished shifts.

Each shift listing includes the following details:

  • Shift start and end times

  • Role and house location

  • House Manager

  • Shift status

  • Participant requirements

  • Requested and approved allowances

Clocking On/Off

Staff can clock on and off directly from the Dashboard, this clock on button will only show if its the staff latest upcoming shift and that their previous shift has been clocked off. Therefore, it's important to clock off within 12 hours of the shift's scheduled end time. If this is missed, managers may need to clock staff off manually.

To view elapsed shifts (shifts that have passed but not yet been completed), use the following steps:

  1. Click the Options dropdown (located to the right of the Upcoming and Completed tabs).

  2. Toggle Show Elapsed to ON.

Allowances and Contingency Hours

Within the dashboard you're able to request:

  • Allowances (e.g. meal, travel)

  • Contingency hours (during sleepovers)

Requests can be submitted directly through each shift tile.

Participant Shift Notes and Incomplete Forms

Participants assigned to a shift will appear underneath shift details. Each participant entry shows the status of their shift notes:

  • A red warning button indicates incomplete shift notes.

  • A red banner signals incomplete forms associated with the shift notes.

To review or complete shift notes:

  1. Find the participant under the relevant shift.

  2. Click View Shift Note to the right of the participant.

Time Zone and SCHADS Award Hours

The Dashboard also displays the current date and time zone for the logged in staff. Please ensure this is accurate, especially when viewing rosters or finance data, as time zone discrepancies can affect SCHADS award hour calculations.

If you have any issues navigating the Dashboard or need support with clocking on/off, submitting allowances, or completing shift notes, please contract your manager or support team.
