Download Folders

Learn how to download a folder from Storage by selecting it and using the Download action from the top toolbar.

Open Storage

From the left navigation menu, click Storage.

This opens your organisation’s storage area, where folders and files are listed in a table.

Find the Folder

Locate the folder you want to download.

You can use the Search storage... field to help find the correct folder more quickly.

Review the row details if needed, such as:

  • Name

  • Access

  • Type

  • Size

  • Modified

Select the Folder

Tick the checkbox next to the folder you want to download.

Once selected, the top action bar will appear and show the available actions for the selected item.

Available options may include:

  • Cut

  • Copy

  • Assign Roles

  • Assign Users

  • Download

  • Delete

Click Download

Click Download from the top action bar.

The system will begin preparing the selected folder for download.

Depending on the folder size and the number of items inside it, this may take a short time.

Save the Downloaded Folder

Once the download is ready, your browser will download the folder package to your device.

Open your browser’s download area if you do not see it immediately.

Important Notes

  • You must select the folder first before the Download action becomes available.

  • This process is based on the new toolbar action, not the old three-dot menu workflow.

  • Download time may vary depending on the folder size and your internet connection.

  • If you cannot see the folder, you may not have permission to access it.

  • If you cannot see the Download option, your permissions may be limited or the item may not be selected correctly.

Troubleshooting

If you cannot download the folder:

  • Check that the folder is selected

  • Confirm you clicked the checkbox for the correct row

  • Refresh the page and try again

  • Make sure the folder has finished loading in the list

  • Check whether your role allows downloads from Storage

If the Download button does not appear:

  • Make sure exactly one or more items are selected

  • Confirm you are in the Storage section

  • Try clearing the selection and selecting the folder again

If the download does not start:

  • Check your browser’s download settings

  • Look for blocked download notifications in your browser

  • Try again after a few moments

  • Test with another browser if needed

If you still have trouble:

  • Contact your support team

  • Include the folder name and what happened when you clicked Download
