Open your profile menu
Click your profile avatar.
From the menu, select Public ID Card.
This opens the Public ID Card section in your profile.
Review the Public ID Card section
In the Public ID Card section, check whether there is already an active share link.
If there is no active link, the section shows:
No active share link.
Click Share ID card to create a temporary public link.
Generate the public ID link
A confirmation window will appear asking:
Generate public ID link?
Review the message, then click Generate link.
The system creates a temporary public link for the staff ID card.
Copy the generated link
After the link is generated, it is automatically copied to your clipboard.
A confirmation message appears:
Share link generated
The link has been copied to your clipboard.
You can now paste the link into an email, message, or document.
The generated link card shows:
ID card name
Public link domain
Who generated the link
Time remaining
Number of views
Open or manage the link
Click the more options menu beside the generated link.
Available options may include:
Open in new tab
Manage links
Revoke link
Use Open in new tab to preview the public ID card.
Use Manage links to view active public ID links.
Use Revoke link to remove access.
Check the public staff ID page
When opened, the public link displays a read-only staff ID card.
The public ID page may show details such as:
Staff name
Role
Organisation
Contact number, if included on the public ID card
ID number
Issue date
Valid status
The page is read-only and is intended for informational purposes only.
Manage active links
If a link already exists, click Manage links or open the Share ID card window.
The Share ID card window shows active public links and may include:
Public link URL
Time remaining
View count
Copy button
Revoke option
New link button
Click the copy icon to copy an active link again.
Click New link to generate another temporary link.
Revoke a public ID link
To remove access to a public ID link, click Revoke.
A confirmation window appears:
Revoke this share link?
Click Revoke to confirm.
Once revoked, the link stops working immediately. Anyone who already opened the card will lose access on their next refresh.
Confirm the link was revoked
After revoking the link, a confirmation message appears:
Share link revoked
The revoked link is removed from the active link list.
If no active links remain, the Public ID Card section returns to the no active link state.
Create a link for a staff member
Admins with the correct access can create or manage public ID links for a staff member.
Go to Staff, then open the staff member’s profile.
Find the Public ID Card section and follow the same steps:
Click Share ID card.
Confirm by clicking Generate link.
Copy or share the generated link.
Manage or revoke the link when needed.
Important Notes
Public staff ID links are temporary and expire after 60 minutes.
Anyone with the link can view the public staff ID card while the link is active.
The link is automatically copied to your clipboard when it is generated.
The public page is read-only.
Private profile information and compliance records are not shown on the public ID card.
You can revoke a link at any time.
Revoked links stop working immediately.
Multiple active links may be shown if more than one link has been generated.
Use New link if you need to generate a fresh public ID link.
Troubleshooting
I cannot see Public ID Card in my profile menu
You may not have permission to access public ID card sharing.
Ask an admin to check your access settings or create the link from the staff member’s profile.
The Share ID card button is disabled
A link may already be active, or your account may not have permission to generate a new link.
Open Manage links to review active links.
The public link has expired
Public ID links expire after 60 minutes.
Generate a New link and share the updated link with the recipient.
The recipient cannot open the link
Check whether the link has expired or been revoked.
If needed, generate a new link and send it again.
The wrong staff ID card is showing
Check that you created the link from the correct staff profile.
If the wrong link was shared, revoke it and generate a new link from the correct staff member’s profile.
I revoked the link by mistake
Generate a New link and share the new URL with the recipient.
