Site View Hours

The Site View Hours total shows the shift hours that are included for a site within the roster. Which hours are included depends on the shift status, shift role, and shift type.

Published shifts

Only published shifts are included in Site View Hours.

Draft shifts do not contribute to the total, even if they are visible on the roster.

Included shift roles

Select which shift roles are included in Site View Hours. Leave the field empty to include all roles.

You can control which shift roles contribute to Site View Hours from:

Admin → Configuration → Roster → Site View Hours → Included Shift Roles

The following rules apply:

  • If no roles are selected, all shift roles are included.

  • If one or more roles are selected, only those roles are included.

  • If Included Shift Roles has been configured, shifts without a role are excluded.

Note: An excluded shift does not add hours to the Site View Hours total. However, it may still be considered when determining the minimum awake hours for a sleepover contingency shift.

Leave shifts

Leave shifts generally do not count towards Site View Hours.

There is one exception.

The Public Holiday portion of a contracted shift on a paid leave type can count as worked time when:

  • A staff member is assigned.

  • The staff member is not a Casual or Contract employment type.

  • The shift role is included in the configured Included Shift Roles.
