Using the Noticeboard in the Dashboard
The Noticeboard is located on the right side of the panel within the Dashboard. it allows staff to view the latest updates and announcements from their organisation. While only staff members with appropriate permissions can create or edit notices, all staff can react to notices, provided the creator of the notice has enabled reaction emojis.
Creating and Editing Notices
If you have the required permissions, you can create or edit notices on the Noticeboard by following these steps:
To Create A New Notice:
Click the blue plus (+) icon at the top right corner of the Noticeboard.
A modal window will appear, allowing you to fill in the details of your notice.
To save the notice, select the blue Save button.
To Edit an Existing Notice:
Click the three vertical dots to the right of the notice title.
A modal window will appear, allowing you to update the notice.
After changes have been made, select the blue Save button.
To Delete an Existing Notice:
Click the three vertical dots to the right of the notice title.
Select the red delete button.
Notice Options in the Modal
Within the modal, you can customise your notice by configuring the following fields:
Image URL - Optional image to display within the notice.
Title - A clear, concise heading for your notice.
Description - The body of your notice, including all relevant information.
Visible - Toggle whether notice should be visible to staff.
Pin - Choose whether to pint the notice to the top of the Noticeboard.
Visible From / Until - Set a date range during which the notice will be displayed.
Reactions - Add emoji options for staff to react to the notice.
Once you've entered all the necessary information:
Click Save to publish or update the notice.
Click Cancel to discard your changes.
