Leave Management

Help with leave management within Diversity Sync'd

Updated over a month ago

This section of Diversity Sync'd allows you to view and manage staff leave requests. The leave requests you're able to access depend on your staff permissions.

For detailed information on permission levels, please refer to the Permissions Support Article.

Depending on your role and permissions:

  • Administrators may have access to view all leave requests across the organisation.

  • House Managers may be limited to viewing leave requests only for themselves and staff they manage.

  • Staff will typically only be able to view their own leave requests.

Leave Requests Table

The leave requests table provides an overview of submitted leave, including the following details:

  • Title

  • Staff Name

  • Type

  • Submission Date

  • Leave Date Range

  • Status

  • Request ID

You're able to filter the table results using the search and dropdown filters to quickly find specific requests.

Available filters include:

  • Staff Name

  • Leave Type

  • Leave Status

This makes it easy to local and review leave requests based on specific criteria.

Within this view, staff can either select an existing leave request or create a new leave request.

For users with the appropriate permissions, an Options dropdown appears next to the 'Create Leave Request' button. This provides access to the Leave Request Mailing List, which defines the staff members who will be notified when a leave request is submitted. This list is editable, allowing you to manage who receives email notifications.

For more advanced control over who is notified at different stages of the leave request process (e.g. submitted, approved, declined), you are able to configure these settings under:

Admin -> Configuration -> Leave in Diversity Sync'd.

You must have the required permissions to access and configure leave request settings. For more information, please refer to the Admin Leave Configuration.
